Hi Solomon, I just sent a post to the developers list to see if youĬould help. I have also a K60 printer arranged, I will try this printer tomorrow I'll let you know. The Hot Folder option that was brought by PS Studio is kind of a workaround, but it should be the best if there will be an option to print with Gutenprint from our Mac systems. I bought a license with HASP dongle and with this sepcial application the CP-D70DW-S does print, but only in this application and not if you use a different program like Photoshop or any Photobooth software. Mitsubishi released a Windows application called PS Studio. I don't know the exact additional commands.īut in the same release notes there is also the 'old' part where it sais that the -S printers aren't supported (image 2) so perhaps it is a mistype in the notes of 5.3.4? Also the specific driver for the -S isn't on the list when selecting the printer model. It needs an additional handshake or extra command. The CP-D70DW-S is almost the same printer as the CP-D70DW (without the S), but it is a system printer, especially produced for the Mitsubishi Click Kiosks. I found in the release notes of Gutenprint 5.3.4 that the CP-D70DW-S is newly supported in this release (see attached screenshot Image1). I tried several times, but the backend crashes every time on signal 6. PID 6553 (gutenprint53+usb) crashed on signal 6! I installed the printer exactly as you described (many thanks for the very clear screenshots) but unfortunately the printer runs directly into this error when you send an image to print: Many thanks for the additional information. ![]()
